The success story of this traditional Italian company began in 1919 when Alfonso Bialetti opened his workshop in Crusinallo, in the Province of Verbania. A little more than a decade later, in 1933, a brilliant intuition of Alfonso Bialetti gave birth to an object that would revolutionise the way of making coffee at home.
Thus was born Moka Express, the coffee maker with an Art Deco design that allowed the Company to make that necessary leap in order to prevail in a short time as one of the leading Italian manufacturers of coffee makers
